Reflection
Reflection was brought to life by Patrick Windmolders in 2006. It stands for reflectiveness and consideration, two characteristics that bring about an urge to communicate the biggest expressiveness towards our audiences. We search for universal subjects in music that begins in the Renaissance and continues in the present day, from Gesualdo da Venosa to Gjielo. We are specialized in a capella works, but from time to time we love to perform with accompaniment for production like the Messe Solennelle by Rossini or Bach's 'Motetten'.
PATRICK WINDMOLDERS
The conductor and creator of Reflection (°Herk-de-Stad 1965) studied in Leuven, Antwerp and Tilburg (NL) where he specialized in Early Vocal Music and choir direction. He teaches at de Kunsthumaniora in Antwerp and gives lectures in the conservatories of Antwerp and Brussels. He started out his carrier as conductor in Hasselt, Herk-de-Stad and Antwerp, and continued by creating the A-koor and ensemble Reflection. Today Patrick Windmolders collaborates with a wide arrange of choirs and choral projects all and is asked regularly to judge choral competitions.
